  22. AMUG Best of . . . Directory grew from one 
  23. page to two. We still don‚Äôt quite fill up 
  24. that much, but one page was getting too 
  25. crowded with the type face used so small 
  26. that my bifocals weren‚Äôt good enough. So, 
  27. thanks to your enthusiastic response to 
  28. our disks, we are growing rapidly. Also 
  29. thank you for your feedback. We can be 
  30. responsive to your needs if you let us 
  31. know your thoughts and ideas. If you 
  32. drop off a disk or have an idea and then 
  33. don‚Äôt see it soon, ask! But the reason is 
  34. probably that ideas take time to grow and 
  35. evolve before they can be put into effect.

  47. Which brings me to my final paragraph. Best of . . . started a year ago, November 1989 to be exact. I was a brand new member of AMUG and made the mistake of saying the ‚Äúv‚Äù word in the hearing range of our illustrious president Michael Bean
